The Kingdom is supporting the Sahel African Community with 100 million euros

Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan announced on Thursday that the Kingdom will provide 100 million euros to support the five African Sahel countries.



The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, has ordered 100 million euros ($ 100 million) in funding for the PIP for the G5 for the period 2019-2021 in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott. To support the five group.

He added that half of the amount will be allocated to support the priority investments of the G5.

The Nouakchott conference aims to coordinate with partners and donors to fund the priority investment program in the Group of Five countries, with the first phase of the program to include 40 sector projects requiring funding of 2 billion euros.
